Yuya cemetery was found in 1905 in the Queen Valley in a cemetery No. 46 by Tiudor Davis and was attended by Juston Maspero, who was the director of the Egyptian Museum. The mummy of Yuya was found within three coffins, one of them in addition to his wife Toya and a number of statues, patients and three wooden chairs, two beds and a warfare and the contents of the cemetery were transferred to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
